This is a Yume Nikki fangame. There is no connection with Yume Nikki's author (Kikiyama).

Just like in Yume Nikki, you collect the Effects. Currently, there's 4 of them.

[ ! ] Please download and install RPG Maker's RTP before playing (select RPG Maker 2003)

[ ! ] This is only for a Windows OS. I've heard that for the Mac you can use WineBottler as an emulator (Not really sure if it'll work since I've never tried it myself).

[ ! ] If for some reason you get an error like invalid image depth or something is missing, etc., I likely forgot to fix it before posting. You could (potentially) fix this by opening the game with EasyRPG (Don't forget to drop Player.exe in the game's main folder)

☆☆ Also, for bugs, it would be nice if you could contact me about it (See above) (Or maybe leave a comment on itch.io?).

Installation Guide

1. Extract the .zip file first before playing.

2. Go to the folder named "unread_".

3. Open RPG_RT.exe, and that's it! (Don't forget the RTP)

Note: If played with headphones, I'd recommend having the volume set at 4-6/10

Controls

[ARROW KEYS] Move.

[Z or ENTER or SPACE] Decision.

[ESC or X or 0] Cancel/Open menu.

[1] Do something with an equiped effect (Doesn't always work, it's intentional).

☆☆ In-game menu:

☽ Effects: Self-explanatory I guess (?).

☽ Action: Allows you to return to your room; If you know the current precicipation rate (seen in the laptop) (changes each time you return to your room), you can check it from there.

Feel free to review the tutorial while you are in your room ♪

* Please note that some (if not most) of the audio files downloaded were converted to .wav files using an online tool. This is because RPG Maker 2003 only supports .wav and .mid audio files. Additionally, some of the Sound Effect Lab's SE were cutted to fit as step sounds.
